Ben Mezrich (born in 1969, Princeton, New Jersey) is an American author. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard in 1991. He has since published eleven books, some under the pseudonym Holden Scott. Mezrich is best known for his facebook sex book Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six MIT Students Who Took Vegas for Millions. This facebook sex book tells the true story of a group of MIT students who earned a fortune at blackjack by using a sophisticated system of card counting. In 2004 his book, Mezrich Ugly Americans: The True Story of the Ivy League Cowboys Who Raided the Asian Markets for Millions. A similar story of a student in a blackjack team with a more sophisticated system for casinos to outsmart. In 2008, Boston magazine examined the truth behind the claimed non-fiction stories. This revealed a number of times twisted truths and made-up passages were, in his work, something that has plagued his reputation as a non-fiction writer. Mezrich spent in 2009 his latest book on Mark Zuckerberg, the man behind social networking site Facebook, entitled The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding Of Facebook, A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, Betrayal and.
